Carla Latijnhouwers is co-founder and certified TWI trainer of TWI Institute Netherlands and Germany. Carla studied Operational Technology and Policy, Communications & Organisation and she has been working in Continuous Improvement for many years. Since 2001 she works as a Lean Consultant and Trainer/Coach and has extensive experience in implementing and managing Continuous Improvement projects in the Netherlands and Germany. In 2013 she founded TWI Instituut Nederland BV and TWI Institut Deutschland GmbH together with Gerard Berendsen, with the aim to make the TWI Methods more accessible for companies.

Christian Thurnes

TWI Trainer

Christian M. Thurnes is a certified TWI trainer for Job Instruction. As a professor at a University of Applied Sciences and author and translator of technical literature, he deals in practice and theory with lean management, innovation methodology and related topics. Together with Alexandra, he founded the "OpExInno - Institute for Operational Excellence and Innovation" in order to support various organizations and companies as an interdisciplinary and cross-sector trainer and consultant - primarily on lean and innovation topics. Christian also emphasizes the importance of TWI and trains Job Instruction in close cooperation with the TWI Institute Germany.

Kristina Wolters

Kristina Wolters is a certified TWI trainer for Job Instruction. Based on many years of experience around continuous improvements within production, she implements LEAN and supports the daily challenges within production. As she supervised a pool of trainers in the past, she wanted to learn TWI Job Instruction. Du to Trainer development, she now can also train others in learning this method.

Markus Bruder

Markus is a certified TWI Job Instruction trainer. He started with continuous improvement as a kaizen coach within the semi-conductor industry. Based on this experience he developed a management system and implemented this in several German companies. During an implementation in a company for electronic devices, they became the preferred supplier in the automotive segment. Markus supports companies as a trainer, coach, and consultant.

Gerard Berendsen

Gerard Berendsen is co-founder and certified TWI trainer of TWI Institute Netherlands and Germany. Gerard studied Electrical engineering, Business Administration and Lean Operations. He has 30 years of experience as a Manager, a Project Manager and Maintenance Manager. His focus is to develop the potential of employees. During his training of Master Lean Operations he discovered that TWI Methods are fundamental to the success of Lean and Continuous Improvement processes. After a first Job Instruction training and a successful implementation he followed further trainings in TWI methods. In 2013 he founded TWI Instituut Nederland BV and TWI Institut Deutschland GmbH together with Carla Latijnhouwers, to increase the number of companies profiting from the TWI methods.
